General information

When not in use by the church or other groups, our premises, both the Church and Community Hall, can be hired. Our premises are accessible and regular or occasional bookings are welcome. There is a small on-site car park and nearby parking for larger events. 

Please note that in accordance with Methodist Standing Orders we do not allow our premises to be hired for any political event or activity and no betting or gambling in any form is allowed on the premises and the supply, sale, or consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted.
The Church is a modern, comfortable, open and welcoming building. It has flexible seating arrangements, a breakout/coffee area at the rear which can be separated from the main body of the Church, a digital projector (with a ceiling mounted screen), a PA system, a small kitchen and a toilet. Tables can be made available. It would be suitable, for example, for corporate, conference or training events. It can be hired from a cost of £20.00 per hour (there may be additional charges for using audio/visual equipment). A plan of the Church can be downloaded here.
The Community Hall is a reasonably large, fully accessible, multi-use building. There are male, female and disabled toilet facilities. A plan of the Community Hall can be downloaded here. The rooms available are: 
  • Large Main Hall with a raised stage and a maximum seating capacity for 200 people.
  • Epworth Room - A small meeting room that can seat around 10 people. 
  • Hackworth Room - A medium size meeting room that can seat around 25 people. 
  • Wesley Room - A large meeting room which can seat between 40 and 50 people. 
  • Additional facilities available for an extra charge include:
    • A large, well equipped kitchen.
    • A digital projector (with a ceiling mounted screen) and PA system.
