General information

When not in use by the church or other groups, we have a number of rooms in our Community Hall that can be hired by members of the community (from as little as £8.00/hour for a small room). Our premises are fully accessible and regular or occasional bookings are welcome.  There is a small on-site car park and nearby parking for larger events. 

Please note that in accordance with Methodist Standing Orders we do not allow our premises to be hired for any political event or activity and no betting or gambling in any form is allowed on the premises and the supply, sale, or consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted.
The rooms available are: 
  • Large Main Hall with a raised stage and a maximum seating capacity for 200 people. 
  • Epworth Room - A small meeting room that can seat around 10 people. 
  • Hackworth Room - A medium size meeting room that can seat around 25 people. 
  • Wesley Room - A large meeting room which can seat between 40 and 50 people. 

Additional facilities available for an extra charge include:
  • A large, well equipped kitchen.
  • A PA system in the Main Hall.
  • Other equipment such as a digital projector and laptop computer.
